Offbeat waterfront dining gem puts their best food forward with a new content-focused, customer-centric marketing strategy.
Boathouse 19 is Western Washington’s waterfront “it spot,” boasting regional American eats, legendary views and causal dining steeped in local maritime history. Their reputation for using locally resourced, seasonally fresh ingredients and hand crafted unique menu items draws their customers off the beaten path, down to the Narrows Marina where, in-season, you can order dockside or dockside with sweeping views of the Tacoma-famous Narrows Bridge.
Case: When Boathouse 19 came to us, their marketing (and photography) was managed by their wait-staff, their online reviews and rating were down, and ownership was running point on their marketing strategy. They were looking for a partner to make a success of everything to do with promoting and managing PR for their restaurant.
Result: We restructured the Boathouse 19 marketing efforts, retooling the foundation of their brand to connect the strengths of their restaurant to their customers. We facilitated product and lifestyle photoshoots to highlight their unique, mouthwatering menu and award-winning views which we then leveraged across their digital strategies. 
We developed consistent email and social media campaigns, which doubled their SMM growth and substantially expanded their customer reach. We also used ongoing, on-brand customer engagement to improve their overall ratings on review sites like Yelp, Google and Trip Advisor. 

Once we had a healthy foundation of content established across their digital touchpoints (including a redesigned website, brand-saturated social media suite, review sites, and customer inboxes), we deployed strategic, promotional online and print advertising campaigns to extend restaurant exposure both locally and nationally. Through those strategic campaigns, the restaurant in “Best of the South Sound” categories yearly and got picked up by food bloggers and journal reviews. 

We were the restaurant’s go-to marketing and communications team, managing all of their web, digital, design and PR needs.
